I live in North Nottinghamshire and cover Doncaster, Sheffield & other areas of South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire & Norfolk.
However, I am happy to travel further afield if you need me to.

I am also available to give talks to groups if you would like to learn more about Dog Listening and how it helps dogs and owners lead happier lives together.

It's amazing what happens when we both speak the same language!

About Me

I am a qualified Dog Listener, trained in Canine Communication.

I found Dog Listening as I am the proud owner of a very bright, strong willed but nervous dog.

This method has helped her to be calmer than I have ever seen her before and allowed her to leave the decision making to me.   When she needs reassurance and guidance I know the way to give her the answers she is looking for.

It has increased my confidence as a dog owner and taken our relationship to a much deeper level.  It would be my pleasure to show you how you can achieve this with your dog.

The Mayflower Sanctuary

As well as advising dog owners privately I am part of a team of Dog Listeners who offer their services free at The Mayflower Sanctuary in Bawtry, near Doncaster.

We give talks to prospective dog adopters about Dog Listening and how to settle their dogs into their new homes.

We also offer free help and advice to owners who adopt dogs from this shelter to enable them to have the best relationship they can with their rescue dogs.

I carry full public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

"Our life with Monty was getting out of control.
He barked at everything that moved.
When Mel came to visit we were slightly sceptical
but after listening to her it all made sense.
Monty is a much happier dog and
as owners we are too."
- Monty's owners
